This year in Essen we'll have another little Ark Expansion. for you. Also Doris has done a great new T-Shirt design.
We've now got a Doris & Frank Google+ Page, we'll see, what it is good for.
Finally there: Chinese Ark! Wargames.com.hk just provided me with samples of their edition of Franks Ark. Of course it looks nice and it's excellen production quality. They also did the "Extra Mix" Expansion.

MÜtsommerturnier: Gerd Siemering offers a tournament for the card game MÜ on the 381st Haarer Spiele-Abend Tuesday, 23rd June, 19:00, in the Bürgerhaus Haar. There is an opportunity to get introduced to the game for those people who do not know the game.

Good old Igel Ärgern is continuing to flourish. While the English service Game Table Online has gone free lately, Brettspielnetz.de, offspring of dutch jijbent.nl, now offers free German 2 player Igel Ärgern ... among other games ... in an offline online version.

Our Spielertage 07 tournaments are over. The page contains a short summary.
Sad news "Die Spielwelt", our local game store is doing clearance sale to go out of business. While I love internet (here we are) I frown on internet business destroying local stores. Small companies need words of mouth more than a cheap web site. "Die Spielwelt" was kind of the cradle of Doris & Frank.
We're back from Essen. The Ark Expansion did remarkable well. We just learned, that Ark finished 6ths at the Fairplay a la Carte card game prize. Well, it's good to be in the top 10, but we hadn't finshed below 3rd so far. Sigh.

The tight production schedule worked at last, we had the first copies of Ark in our hands today. And we immediately found a minor typesetting error in the rules, nothing big though. Sigh.

Gerd Siemering announces two kinds of Mü tournaments. An ongoing permanent tournament which publishes it's standings on the Munich open Müsterschaft (Mü-o-Mü) Homepage. The other tournament will take place at Saturday the 19th of June in Munich.
After I found my 4 years lost password, I could finally switch our nedstat counter from Durch to German. :-)
For trademark reasons this site now avoids the english word for German "Gedächtnis" where it could be read as a game name.

Ursuppe goes University. Ursuppe has been choosen the basis for a programming seminar at Freie University of Berlin. Assignments include TCPIP commnunication, a GUI and an AI. And there is an ai by Frank.
"Frank's Zoo" now exists in a dutch edition by PS-Games. This is the fourth edition after our own one, the Rio Grande and the (rare) Taiwanese one.
